Paula Volante

Paula has always been focused on strength and conditioning training but her real passion was fuelled when she joined CrossFit in 2013 and quickly realised that she had found a sport that would provide the variety she had longed, which pushed her to train harder than ever before, learn new skills and improve her strength and endurance to no end all with the support of a great group of people who pushed each other as hard as was required to achieve their individual goals. Paula’s passion for coaching CrossFit, is based on the combination of Olympic Weight Lifting, Gymnastics, Calisthenics and Endurance, which when combined improves all of the physical skills of Power, Endurance, Strength, Stamina, Flexibility, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance and Accuracy which Paula has strived to see in all of her clients after experiencing it first hand when she started training CrossFit.

She believes that everyone will significantly benefit from CrossFit, whether a professional athlete, a surfer, a golfer, a boxer, someone who wants to find their sport or you’re everyday person who wants to be healthier, fitter and feel happier in themselves. The functional strength training methods used in CrossFit will transfer into any sport or area of life and more importantly will ensure you have great movement mechanics, which intern significantly reduces the risk of injury in any other sport. Paula’s a firm promoter of CrossFit due its scaling ability which allows any person of any ability and any age to train CrossFit, to see results and to generally be a better human.

Paula is a firm believer that you get out what you put in to training and life so works her clients and the classes as hard as necessary in order to ensure they each achieve their individual goals, whatever they may be, through teaching, coaching or motivation
