At Jersey CrossFit Gym, we not only want to make sure that you get the safest, most effective workout, but that you’re part of our community before you start your first group class. Coached by a CrossFit coach our 21 Day Jumpstart programme is designed to get you to your first session with the knowledge you need to be successful.
To get started at Jersey CrossFit Gym you must complete our 21 Day Jumpstart programme, graduating as a full member of our club. This ensures you learn the ropes, develop your technique on exercises, understand the theory behind CrossFit methods, and so that when you graduate it will allow a smooth transition into the group training classes.
The Jumpstart Program:
- 2 x 60 minute sessions with a private coach learning foundation exercises.
- Advance your knowledge and technique to a level that will allow a smooth transition into group training classes.
- After completing Session 1, you get 21 Days on the CrossFit Unlimited membership to attend any classes of your choice on the class timetable. During this period you can then feedback anything you like to your private fundamentals coach, any concerns, technique difficulties, etc. During this period we will also carry out Session 2 of your fundamentals program.
All fundamentals sessions must be made up via private coaching. After the completion of the Fundamentals Program you can then decide if a membership is for you, and which classes best suits your schedule and goals.
What you can expect to learn in our Fundamental sessions:
- Session 1 – Introduction to Jersey Crossfit Gym, Class Timetable, Why CrossFit?, Programming, 10 physical skills/hierarchy of fitness/Wellness continuum/metabolic pathways, Air Squat, Back Squat, Front Squat, Overhead Squat, Thruster, Push Ups, Strict Press, Push Press, Lunge, Box Jumps, Burpees, Wall Ball, Slams, short WOD.
- Session 2 – Deadlift, Sumo Deadlift High Pull, High-Hang Power Clean, High Hang Power Snatch, Handstand Progressions, KB Swings Russian/American, KB Snatch, TTB progressions, Pull Up progressions, Jumping C2B, Ring Rows, Rope Climb Progressions, Concept 2 Rowing mechanics, Skipping, short WOD, Jersey CrossFit Membership Options, TeamUp.

QuickFit classes are our core 30-minute group sessions, designed so you can get in and get out….FAST. QuickFit workouts are both intense and short, so you save yourself time while getting the benefits of functional strength training and cardio together. In just 30 minutes of your day, sweat your way to a leaner, meaner, more confident new you.
Our Strongman Conditioning classes are a packed hour of endurance training using all the classic Strongman equipment: heavy balls, tyre flips, sled drags and prowler pushes to name a few. You will also find yourself using classic CrossFit movements and skills in a testing hour of circuits, intervals and lung-busting workouts.
The Olympic Lifting Class focuses exclusively on the correct technique for weightlifting. Athletes will work on improving their abilities in the snatch and the clean and jerk through drills, technique work, accessory exercises and of course plenty of classic lifting.
Everyone wants to perform their best at what they love while minimising the risk of injury and overuse. Let’s face it, injuries and chronic muscle or joint pain suck. Yoga can help you unravel poor posture habits, amongst other benefits, by adding it to your regular training regime.
CrossFit Endurance is a 8 week endurance sports training program dedicated to improving performance, fitness and endurance potential. We inspire, coach, and provide our community with the most aggressive and proven fundamentals of sports science, exercise physiology, nutrition, and athletic training protocols.
Strength is the component of fitness that underpins many other areas of fitness. If you are looking to increase your Speed, Power, Endurance or just to improve at CrossFit Workouts then get stronger!. This Powerlifting programme will focus on the main lifts: Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift.
ROM means ‘range of motion’, and WOD means ‘workout of the day’. In order to have a healthy lifestyle, it is important that you do some form of moderate to intense exercise. Exercising, however, comes with its own risk of injury, and in order to reduce this likelihood, it is important that you engage in recovery and mobility.
CrossFit Gymnastics is a skill based class balancing the gymnastic demands associated with CrossFit coupled with classic gymnastics training exercises. Our goal is to increase our members overall body and spacial awareness, flexibility, and strength through this fun and challenging class – all of which will improve CrossFit performance.
Designed for the beginner to competitive runner, this is a periodised weekly endurance program run by Dan Garrido – experienced endurance competitor – for anyone wanting to optimize their aerobic capacity. The program will give proper warm ups and running mechanic drills to get you prepped for your training.
Our AssaultFit class is a 30 minute Assault Bike conditioning class designed to get your sweat on. These classes are tough, are very time efficient, and is ideal for learning pacing strategies on the bike, weight loss and building a stronger heart!
CHOOSE A MEMBERSHIP
Group coaching allows our members to work with a professional coach for a fraction of the investment. As everyone walking in has a vast range of personal goals and ability levels, our group coaching timetable is designed with the variety to meet those needs. While not as specific as an individualised program designed just for you, our training timetable allows you to choose from different programs to achieve your goals.
Our expert programming while full of variance, is not random. It is designed specifically to improve our members’ health and performance in ways that is meaningful to their needs and goals.

If you hold a Level 1 Crossfit Trainer certificate or if you are a CrossFit regular from abroad visiting you are more than welcome to book online and join the classes immediately. When you register for your class you will need to complete the online Disclaimer and pay for your single sessions. You can do that by clicking on the class you wish to attend on the class schedule.
