Joe Murphy (Owner)
In 2012, Joe founded Jersey CrossFit with a clear goal: to create a different style of training in Jersey that combined high-intensity workouts with proven strength and conditioning methods used in sport.
The vision was to build a performance-based gym that could help everyday people improve their health and fitness, while also giving athletes a place to train using the same principles used in elite sport. By combining strength training, conditioning, and functional movement, the aim was to develop well-rounded fitness that transfers both to sport and to life.
Before founding the gym, Joe was heavily involved in football, representing England at amateur level and playing semi-professional football in England. Today Joe competes in Functional Fitness and continues to coach and develop athletes of all levels. Jersey CrossFit has grown into a community focused on hard work, support, and continual improvement — helping members become stronger, fitter, and more confident both inside and outside the gym.

Sarah Tambling (Manager)
Sarah is our general manager and looks after each clients journey within the gym.
She enjoys playing lots of different sports, such as running marathons, entering crazy events like a Tough Mudder or the Breca Challenge and testing herself through sporting events such as a Triathlon and White Collar Boxing.

Adam Harrison (Head Coach)
Adam is known for his efficient Gymnastics and Weightlifting abilities. Adam is a firm believer that you get out what you put in to training and life so works people as hard as necessary in order to ensure they each achieve their individual goals, whatever they may be, through teaching, coaching or motivation.

Tom Crowne (Coach)
Tom has had nearly 10 years experience in the fitness industry. Tom went into management at Fitness First Jersey before joining Jersey CrossFit as a coach. This is very much where his passion is, being on the gym floor, motivating and guiding people to their fitness and movement goals!

Dan Cornelius (Coach)
Dan has over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. His coaching focuses on improving health, functional movement and building strength that carries over into everyday life. He also leads our Kids & Teens classes, where he is passionate about helping young athletes develop confidence, coordination and a love for movement in a fun and supportive environment.
